Special Olympics Pennsylvania POLAR PLUNGE – Canoe Creek

Are you ready to PLUNGE!?

Special Olympics Pennsylvania invites YOU to take the Polar Plunge at CANOE CREEK STATE PARK on SATURDAY, FEBRUARY 5th. Or, participate the Virtual Polar Pop from the comfort and warmth of your own home!

Every minute you spend in the cold will warm the hearts of thousands of Special Olympics athletes and provide year-round services to people with intellectual disabilities. Registration begins at 9:00 am with the first plunge at noon.

‘Tis the season to be “Freezin’ for a Reason!” … Visit PlungePA.org to sign up today!

The Winter Games Polar Plunge is an event to raise funds and awareness for Special Olympics Pennsylvania (SOPA). Plungers commit to “Freezin’ for a Reason” and raise a minimum of $50 to dip a toe, wade, or jump on into icy waters of Canoe Creek Lake. Not quite ready to “take the plunge,” spectators can cheer on individuals or teams from the viewing areas, and join us at Plunge Town for food, entertainment, guest appearances, vendors, kids activities and more. There will be something for everyone so bring the whole family.  Register Today!
