Two people were hospitalized after a crash involving a police vehicle Wednesday night in Cambria County. It happened around 9:25 PM on Route 219 southbound near the Elton Road exit. The two people injured were taken to Conemaugh Memorial Medical Center.

One of the men who escaped from the Clearfield County Jail on Memorial Day was back in court Wednesday on additional charges. While Donald John White was on the run, he allegedly stole a motorcycle from a man in Bigler Township. White is charged with felony counts of theft by unlawful taking, receiving stolen property and theft by deception, as well as several summaries. He has additional kidnapping, strangulation, terroristic threats, simple assault, false imprisonment and more charges in relation to his actions on Jan. 3.

The average price for a gallon of unleaded regular gas in Pennsylvania is currently four dollars and 71 cents, while the national average is four dollars and 57 cents.

A Bellefonte man is facing charges after state police say he and another man broke into a home and stole a pair of Jordan sneakers along with a PlayStation 5 in Centre County. Samuel Martinez faces several felony and misdemeanor charges stemming from the break-in that occurred at a home in Potter Township on July 3. He was placed in Centre County Prison.

Governor Tom Wolf has signed a bill that will give law enforcement more power concerning illegal dirt bikes and ATVs.  Many communities are pleased at the success of getting the law passed that would confiscate and sell or destroy these kind of vehicles that are operated on city streets. The law won’t go into effect for about 60 days.

Pennsylvania Lottery scratch-off games paid off in a big way for the month of June for state residents.  Officials from the lottery say Pennsylvanians collected more than 200-million-dollars in winnings last month. There were a total of 445 prizes awarded in June, including five top prizes worth a million dollars each.
