Taylor Hawkins Tribute Shows 6/16/22

Foo Fighters have rolled out most of the artists set to perform at the Taylor Hawkins Tribute Concerts set for London’s Wembley Stadium on September 3rd and in Los Angeles at The Forum on September 27th. Tickets for both concerts will go on sale this Friday (June 17th) 9 a.m. local time via the Foo Fighters’ website: https://bit.ly/3xsC7a1

Taylor Hawkins died on March 25th at age 50 after suffering an alleged drug overdose in Columbia.

London’s Wembley Stadium tribute will feature Queen‘s Brian May and Roger TaylorRush‘s Geddy Lee and Alex LifesonStewart CopelandWolfgang Van HalenLiam GallagherJosh HommeMark RonsonRufus TaylorOmar HakimSupergrass, and Hawkins’ Chevy Metal bandmates Chris ChaneyLia, and comedian Dave Chapelle.

The L.A. Forum concert will feature essentially the same lineup with the addition of Gene SimmonsNikki SixxChad SmithMiley CyrusAlanis Morissette, Luke Spiller, Jon Theodore, Brad Will, and Pat Wilson. Additional performers will soon be announced.

Millions mourned his untimely passing on March 25, with passionate and sincere tributes coming from fans as well as musicians Taylor idolized. The Taylor Hawkins Tribute Concerts will unite several of those artists, the Hawkins family and of course his Foo Fighters brothers in celebration of Taylor’s memory and his legacy as a global rock icon — his bandmates and his inspirations playing the songs that he fell in love with, and the ones he brought to life.
