The Blair County DUI Task Force released the results from their DUI roving patrol on Saturday, March 19. According to the task force, they made 122 individual contacts that resulted in 79 warnings issued for vehicle violations 15 citations issued for vehicle violations, 3 alcohol DUI arrests, 6 drug related misdemeanor arrests and 1 summary non-traffic arrest.

An accident in Clearfield County has left one child dead. The accident occurred in Beccaria Township Thursday afternoon and involved an ATV. The name and age of the child were not released. Further details surrounding the accident remain unknown at this time.

Even though the price of gas has gone down a bit in Pennsylvania, prices still remain high but some lawmakers want to change that. Three U.S. House representatives have introduced a bill that would provide Americans with direct payments through the end of the year.  As long as the national gas prices average four-dollars-per gallon or higher, 100-dollar monthly checks would be sent to individuals and 200-dollars would be sent to couples. 

Officials say one person was injured after being hit by a vehicle in Johnstown Thursday.

Emergency officials say the crash happened near the intersection of Vine and Market streets around 6:15 p.m. Police say a car struck a person who was riding on an electric bicycle before driving away from the scene. The victim was being treated at Conemaugh Memorial Medical Center. Johnstown police are investigating.

One person is being treated for burns after a garage explosion on Ord Street in Salisbury. The victim had to be flown to West Penn Hospital in Pittsburgh due to sustained injuries. The call came in around 9:44 a.m.

About 300 fewer total COVID cases have been reported in Pennsylvania in comparison to last week. State Department of Health officials say as of March 20th, there were just under 35-hundred cases of COVID-19. The statewide positivity rate is also going down – it’s now at three percent.
