Governor Wolf yesterday suggested that schools cancel all sports programs until January.

State Senate Republican leaders have harsh criticism to the Wolf Administration’s strong recommendation that school and youth sports been postponed until at least January 1st.

The PIAA Says it’s tremendously disappointed with the Governor’s statement and will have an emergency meeting today to decide what to do.

Officials with Pittsburgh Public Schools are now recommending all fall sports be postponed.
