Governor Wolf’s administration moved yesterday to expand the indoor mask order to public places outdoors where social distancing in not possible.

The State Department of Health yesterday confirmed 636 additional cases of COVID-19 bringing the total to 87,242 with 38 new deaths totaling 6,687. The number of cases in Blair County increased by one to 72 with one death.

The P-A Supreme Court is siding with Governor Tom Wolf and ending an effort by Republican state lawmakers to stop the shutdown order.

Altoona police are investigating another shooting in the city yesterday, this one on Spruce Avenue.

Governor Wolf will sign those two police reform bills bassed by the General Assembly.
