Today marks the observance of Doctor Martin Luther King, Jr. day with Government offices closed, no mail delivery and some schools closed.

Frankie Rodgers was resentenced Friday for the murder of Patsy Lascoli in 1988, and the Lascoli family is outraged at the sentence.

Local drug kingpin Charles Bellon was also resentenced to 31 to 46 years replacing his original 31 to 62 year sentence.

Officials at Norfolk Southern are investigating a train derailment that occurred Friday afternoon in Cambria County.

On the heels of the Cresson Train derailment, some are questioning a rail industry decision to possibly limit some of the train crews to one person.

The Centre County D-A released a statement saying his investigation into the hazing charges by a former Penn State football player did not yield enough evidence to bring charges.
