It Took Thousands of Hours to Make Chris Stapleton’s Lego Video

This better win CMT Video of the Year next summer.  It’s CHRIS STAPLETON’s Lego-animated “Second One to Know” video, and it features Lego versions of Chris, his wife, his kids, his band . . . and even Chris Pratt.

It opens with the band in concert, and then a nutty fan played by Chris Pratt gets tossed out of the venue and into the path of a ninja motorcycle gang.  Next thing you know, the gang and the band are fighting, and Chris Stapleton’s riding an eagle while battling a fire-breathing dragon.

The whole thing took some three years and thousands of hours to complete.  And according to Rolling Stone, it’s the “first officially licensed Lego video.”

Chris [Stapleton] says, “We wanted to do something fun for this song and it always sounded like a fight scene to me, so we approached The LEGO Group with this idea and a rough outline of what we wanted to do.  I couldn’t be happier with the result.”

“Second One to Know” is one of the tracks on Chris’ 2017 album, “From A Room: Volume 1”.
