At the Rock in Rio Festival, in Rio de Janeiro over the weekend, Foo Fighters’ Dave Grohl told the audience that the band was about to record a new album. He said, “We go home next week and we start making a new Foo Fighters record.” And then added, “It’s good, it’s good.” He also assured the audience that Foo Fighters would be back to Rio.
Just last month drummer, Taylor Hawkins made a similar comment and said, “I think we’ll have a new record by next year.”
They still have 2 shows left on their international run, in Colombia and Costa Rica this week, before wrapping thing. Their next album will mark their tenth studio album.
