IT SEEMS THAT SOME ON THE ALTOONA SCHOOL BOARD ARE CONSIDERING OPENING UP THE HEAD FOOTBALL COACHING POSITION. NICK FELUS HAS BEEN THE COACH FOR 3 YEARS, AND HAS EMASSED A 7-23 RECORD. THE BOARD ALSO APPROVED A MOVE FROM THE WPIAL TO THE MID PENN LEAGUE AFTER THE 2017 SEASON, WHICH RESULTED IN JUST 1 MORE VICTORY THAN IN 2016 AND 17. ONE FELUS SUPPORTER STATED THAT THE COACH SHOULD BE GIVEN A FEW MORE YEARS, STATING THAT HE FEELS THE PROGRAM IS ON THE RIGHT TRACK. THE TOPIC HOWEVER WAS NOT DISCUSSED, SINCE THE BOARD STATED IT WANTS TO GATHER MORE INFORMATION BEFORE TAKING ANY ACTION.
