THE MOUNT ALOYSIUS AND PSU ALTOONA WOMENS TEAMS COMBINED TO ATTEMPT A REPORTED 68 3 POINT FIELD GOALS, MAKING ONLY 16 AS ALTOONA BEAT THE MOUNT 68-60. 5 OF ALTOONA’S 3 POINTERS FELL IN THE 4TH QUARTER TO HELP THE LADY LIONS TO VICTORY. PSU ALTOONA IS NOW 2-2 ON THE SEASON.

 

THE MOUNT ALOYSIUS MEN BEAT PENN STATE ALTOONA IN THE SECOND HALF OF THE DOUBLEHEADER LAST NIGHT 79-67. IT WAS THE FIRST CONFERENCE GAME FOR BOTH TEAMS. JULIAN STOVER LED THE MOUNT WITH 23 POINTS, 19 FROM THE FOUL LINE. ALTOONA SLIPPED TO 1-5 ON THE SEASON.

 

JUNIATA COLLEGE WOMENS TEAM LOST A TOUGH ONE ON THE ROAD LAST NIGHT. THE EAGLES DID NOT SCORE A POINT IN THE 1ST QUARTER AGAINST FROSTBURG, AND WENT ON TO LOSE 56-52. THE EAGLES TRAILED BY 15 AT THE HALF, BUT COULD NOT MAKE UP THE DIFFERENCE IN THE SECOND HALF.
