It’s WEDNESDAY!! Election Day is over, Woo Hoo!!! Here’s your Wednesday morning 11/7 headlines:

The polls proved to be correct in predicting Pennsylvania’s races for Governor and U-S Senate with Tom Wolf winning re-election as Governor and Bob Casey, Jr. winning his U-S Senate seat for a third term.

Local Republicans has little trouble in sweeping their races with John Joyce winning the new 13th Congressional seat, Judy Ward winning the 30th District State Senate seat, Lou Schmidt took the 79th and Jim Gregory won the 80th.

Blair County voters turned out big for a mid-term election. County voter records show a little more than 55.7 percent of registered voters turned out for yesterday’s election.

Pennsylvania is sending four women to Congress for the first time. The four are all Democrats that won open seats, with three taking districts that had been under Republican control.

A Blair County man was sentenced to state prison Monday for terrorizing a Clearfield County couple earlier this year.

Police in Clearfield County are looking for the owner of a truck that was involved in a fiery crash early yesterday morning.

Heating season is upon us and state officials say help is available for anyone struggling to pay utility bills.
