THE LOSS ALSO PUT TO REST ANY CHANCE OF PENN STATE GETTING INTO THE COLLEGE FOOTBALL PLAYOFF. THE 4-2 NITTANY LIONS WILL TRAVEL TO INDIANA FOR A 3:30 KICK THIS COMING SATURDAY.

 

IUP ROARED BACK FROM A 20-0 DEFICIT SATURDAY AFTERNOON TO DEFEAT CLARION IN A WILD 24-23 WIN AT MILLER STADIUM. THE CRIMSON HAWKS SCORED 2 4TH QUARTER TOUCHDOWNS TO STEAL THE WIN FROM CLARION. IUP HALTED A 2 GAME LOSING STREAK AND IMPROVED ITS RECORD TO 5-2. MEANWHILE, IT WAS ANOTHER HEARTBREAKING LOSS FOR THE ST. FRANCIS RED FLASH. THE FLASH LED WAGNER 22-16, BUT GAVE UP A TOUCHDOWN WITH JUST 6 SECONDS REMAINING TO SUFFER A 23-22 LOSS. THE FLASH SAW THEIR RECORD FALL TO 2-4.
