PENN STATE OFFENSIVE COORDINATOR RANDY RAHNE HAS TAKEN FULL RESPONSIBILITY FOR THE 4TH AND 5 PLAY CALL THAT FAILED IN THE WANING MOMENTS OF SATURDAY NGIHTS LOSS TO OHIO STATE. RAHNE MADE THE COMMENT YESTERDAY, SAYING THAT HE DID NOT GIVE THE TEAM A CHANCE TO SUCCEED. MILES SANDERS WAS TACKLED IN THE BACKFIELD ON THE FAILED PLAY. TRACE McSORLEY WHO ACCOUNTED FOR MORE THAN 460 TOTAL YARDS OF OFFENSE DID NOT FACTOR IN THE DECISIVE PLAY.

 

DISTRICT 6 CROWNED TWO GOLF CHAMPIONS YESTERDAY. STATE COLLEGE CAPTURED THE DISTRICT 6 CLASS 3A CHAMPIONSHIP, WHILE ST. JOSEPH’s WON THE 2A CHAMPIONSHIP. BOTH WILL PLAY IN THE SUB REGIONALS NEXT WEEK WITH A CHANCE TO ADVANCE TO THE PIAA STATE CHAMPIONSHIPS.
