Someone onReddit posted a video of JOHN MORELAND performing his song, “You Don’t Care For Me Enough To Cry“. They called it, “The new world record for the saddest country song ever.”
It’s a great song, and it’s definitely sad . . . but Whiskey Riff used it as a springboard to come up with their own list of sad songs. Here are a few of theirs:
“He Stopped Loving Her Today”, by George Jones . . . “Alyssa Lies”, by Jason Michael Carroll . . . Jason Isbell’s “Elephant” . . . “Concrete Angel” by Martina McBride . . . and the Brad Paisley – Alison Krauss classic “Whiskey Lullaby”.
