THE CURVE LOST TO TRENTON 5-1 LAST NIGHT AT PNG FIELD, WHILE AKRON LOST TO BOWIE AT HOME. THE CURVE STILL HAVE A 1 GAME LEAD ON THE RUBBER DUCKS AS THE SEASON ENTERS ITS FINAL WEEK.

THE MANSION PARK SUMMER BASKETBALL LEAGUE WILL HAVE A NEW HOME IN THE NEAR FUTURE. THE ALTOONA MIRROR REPORTS TODAY THAT LAKEMONT PARK’S OWNERS WILL CONSTRUCT 4 NEW COURTS FOR THE LEAGUE, COMPLETE WITH BLEACHERS, SCOREBOARDS. LIGHTING AND RESTROOMS. THE PROJECT WILL COST $300,000.
