THIS YEAR, SEVERAL KNOWN FRANCHISES HAVE DROPPED OUT, FORCING OTHER CITIES TO SEND 2 TEAMS. HOST JOHNSTOWN WILL HAVE 2 TEAMS, WHILE ALTOONA WILL HAVE ONLY 1 REPRESENTATIVE.

 

YOU CAN TELL FOOTBALL IS ON THE HORIZON. THE FIRST COACHES POLL HAS BEEN RELEASED FOR THE PRE-SEASON. NO SURPRISE, ALABAMA IS #1, FOLLOWED BY CLEMSON, OHIO STATE, GEORGIA AND OKLAHOMA. PENN STATE COMES IN AT NUMBER 9 IN THE POLL. THE SEASON BEGINS FOR MOST ON SEPT 1ST.

 

ANOTHER PRIZE RECRUIT FOR THE 2019 FRESHMAN CLASS AT PENN STATE. ZACHARY FRANKS, A 6’6 287 LB LINEMAN FROM BALTIMORE, VERBALLY COMMITTED TO PENN STATE YESTERDAY.  FRANKS CHOSE PENN STATE OVER NEARLY 3  DOZEN OTHER SCHOOLS INCLUDING PITT. PSU WOULD LIKE TO ADD ANOTHER 1 OR 2 LINEMEN BEFORE THEIR SCHOLARSHIPS ARE CLOSED FOR NEXT YEAR.
