THE ALTOONA CURVE BEGIN A HUGE 3 GAME SERIES AGAINST THE SENATORS IN HARRISBURG  TONIGHT. THE CURVE ARE 3 GAMES AHEAD OF THE SENATORS FOR SECOND PLACE IN THE WESTERN DIVISION OF THE EASTERN LEAGUE. THE CURVE CAN TAKE A STRANGLEHOLD ON THAT POSITION IF THEY WERE TO SWEEP THE SERIES. THE TOP 2 TEAMS IN THE DIVISION MAKE THE EASTERN LEAGUE PLAYOFFS AT THE END OF THE YEAR.

HOLLIDAYSBURG BEAT HUNTINGDON 5-4 YESTERDAY TO ADVANCE TO MEET LEBANON VALLEY TODAY IN THE TITLE ROUND. IF HOLL WINS, THEY WIN THE TITLE. IF LEBANON VALLEY WINS, THERE WILL BE A SECOND GAME TO DETERMINE THE CHAMPION.
