BRYAN REYNOLDS CRUSHED A 2 OUT, 3 RUN WALK OFF HOME RUN TO LIFT THE CURVE TO AN 8-7 COME FROM BEHIND WIN OVER THE BINGHAMTON RUMBLE PONIES. REYNOLDS HEROICS CAME AFTER BINGHAMTON SCORED AN INSURANCE RUN IN THE 9TH TO GO UP 2 RUNS. THE TEAMS EXCHANGED THE LEAD ON 5 DIFFERENT OCCASIONS BEFORE REYNOLDS SETTLED THE MATTER WITH HIS HOME RUN.

 

GAME 2 OF THE SERIES IS TONIGHT AT 7:00. LEFTY TAYLOR HEARN WILL PITCH FOR ALTOONA. THE WIN MOVES THE CURVE TO WITHIN 5 ½ GAMES OF AKRON FOR THE LEAD IN THE WESTERN DIVISION.
