THE ALTOONA CURVE HAVE HAD ALL KINDS OF PROBLEMS WITH RAIN, BUT LAST NIGHT IN AKRON, IT WAS ELECTRICITY THAT STOPPED THEM FROM WINNING.

A POWER FAILURE IN THE 8TH INNING LAST NIGHT HALTED PLAY BETWEEN THE CURVE AND RUBBERDUCKS, WITH ALTOONA HOLDING AN 8-2 LEAD. THE CURVE WITH A WIN, WOULD MOVE TO WITHIN 5 GAMES OF AKRON FOR THE WESTERN DIVISION LEAD. THE GAME WILL BE FINISHED TODAY, TO BE FOLLOWED BY THE REGULARLY SCHEDULED GAME, WHICH WAS TO START AT 12:05.

THE CURVE RETURN HOME TOMORROW NIGHT, BUT MANY CURVE FANS WILL BE DISAPPOINTED. THE BINGHAMTON RUMBLE PONIES HAVE ANNOUNCED THAT TIM TEBOW WILL BE LOST FOR THE REST OF THE SEASON. TEBOW BROKE A BONE IN HIS HAND LAST WEEK, AND WILL NEED SEASON ENDING SURGERY. WHICH MEANS, TEBOW WILLNOT BE WITH THE CLUB WHEN THEY START THEIR 4 GAME SERIES IN ALTOONA TOMORROW NIGHT.

IF YOU SUBSCRIBE TO COMCAST TV, YOU BETTER HEED THE WARNING. IT HAS BEEN ANNOUNCED THAT COMCAST AND THE BIG 10 ARE AT ODDS, MEANING THEY DO NOT HAVE A CONTRACT BEYOND AUGUST 31ST. IF A NEW DEAL IS NOT SIGNED BY THEN, COMCAST MAY DROP THE NETWORK, AND FANS COULD MISS OUT ON SOME PENN STATE FOOTBALL GAMES. THE BIG 10 AND FOX SPORTS 1 ALSO HAVE AN AGREEMENT, WHICH ALSO RUNS OUT NEXT MONTH. THOSE GAMES COULD ALSO BE LOST IF A NEW AGREEMENT IS NOT REACHED BETWEEN THE BIG 10, FS1 AND COMCAST.
