EVEN THOUGH THE EASTERN LEAGUE IS ON ALL STAR BREAK, THE ALTOOAN CURVE WILL BE BUSY DURING THE BREAK. THE CURVE COACHING STAFF WILL BE IN CHARGE OF THE WESTERN DIVISION ALL STARS FOR TOMORROW NIGHTS GAME IN TRENTON. MANAGER MIKE RYAN AND HIS STAFF WON THE RIGHT TO COACH THE GAME AFTER MAKING THE EASTERN LEAGUE CHAMPIONSHIP SERIES AND WINNING IT LAST YEAR.

 

IT IS THE FIRST ALL STAR MANAGING ASSIGNMENT FOR RYAN. ALSO, SLUGGER WILL CRAIG WILL TAKE PART IN THE HOME RUN DERBY PORTION OF THE FESTIVITIES. CRAIG, ALONG WITH SEAN KESELICA, KE’BRYAN HAYES AND TAYLOR HEARN WILL REPRESENT ALTOONA ON THE TEAM. THE REGULAR SEASON RESUMES THURSDAY.

 

STATE COLLEGE IS OUT OF THE BASEMENT OF THE PINCKNEY DIVISION OF THE NEW YORK-PENN LEAGUE… FOR THE MOMENT. THE SPIKES BEAT BATAVIA 3-0 LAST NIGHT TO CLIMB OUT OF THE CELLAR. THE ENTIRE LEAGUE HAS AN OFF DAY TODAY. THE SPIKES RESUME ACTION TOMORROW NIGHT WHEN THEY PLAY VERMONT AT MEDLAR FIELD.
