QUARTERFINAL TO FAIRLEIGH DICKINSON 84-75 AT HOME AND WERE ELIMINATED FROM THE TOURNAMENT. THE FLASH NOW HAVE A RECORD OF 18-12, AND WILL WAIT TO SEE IF THEY GET AN INVITATION TO ANOTHER POST SEASON TOURNEY.

 

THE PENN STATE ALTOONA MENS BASKETBALL TEAM SAW THEIR SEASON COME TO AN END LAST NIGHT. THE LIONS LOST TO BETHANY COLLEGE 71-66 IN THE ECAC DIVISION 3 TOURNAMENT. THE LIONS HAD A 6 POINT HALFTIME LEAD, BUT WENT COLD IN THE SECOND HALF. ALTOONA ENDS THEIR SEASON AT 19-8.

 

THE JUNIATA MENS TEAM WILL CONTINUE ON IN THE DIVISION 3 TOURNAMENT. THE EAGLES POSTED A 73-68 WIN OVER ARCADIA COLLEGE LAST NIGHT AT HOME. FORMER BISHOP GUILFOYLE PRODUCT DAMON RICKENS SCORED 16 POINTS AND GRABBED 9 REBOUNDS TO HELP LEAD THE EAGLES. JUNIATA WILL NOW PLAY ON FRIDAY AT 11 AM AGAINST NEUMANN COLLEGE AT WILKES UNIVERSITY.

 

THE PENN STATE NITTANLY LIONS WILL BEGIN BIG 10 CONFERENCE TOURNAMENT PLAY TONIGHT AT MADISON SQUARE GARDEN IN NEW YORK CITY. THE LIONS, WHO WILL TAKE ON NORTHWESTERN, ARE ON A 3 GAME LOSING STREAK. IF THEY WIN, THEY WILL PLAY OHIO STATE IN THE QUARTERFINALS TOMORROW. PENN STATE BEAT THE BUCKEYES TWICE THIS SEASON.
