IT’S THE FINAL HOME GAME FOR THE PENN STATE NITTANY LIONS TOMORROW WHEN THEY HOST NEBRASKA AT BEAVER STADIUM. 23 SENIORS WILL PLAY THEIR FINAL GAME IN HAPPY VALLEY. THIS CLASS OF SENIORS WAS RECRUITED BY FORMER HEAD COACH BILL O’BRIEN. KICKOFF IS SET FOR 4:00.

 

THE PENN STATE MENS BASKETBALL TEAM WILL TRY TO WIN THEIR 3RD  GAME OF THE YOUNG SEASON TONIGHT WHEN THEY HOST COLUMBIA AT THE BRYCE JORDAN CENTER. TIP OFF IS SET FOR7:00.

 

THE HOLLIDAYSBURG GOLDEN TIGERS FOOTBALL TEAM WILL GET BACK ON THE FIELD TONIGHT AFTER A 2 WEEK LAYOFF. THE TIGERS WILL TAKE PART IN THE CLASS 5A STATE PLAYOFFS WHEN THEY TAKE ON GROVE CITY AT PENNS MANOR HIGH SCHOOL IN CLYMER. KICKOFF IS SET FOR 7 PM. WINNER OF THIS GAME WIOL PLAY THE WPIAL 5A CHAMPION NEXT WEEK.

 

THE STATE HIGH SCHOOL FOOTBALL RANKINGS ARE OUT FOR THE WEEK AND SEVERAL DISTRICT 6 TEAMS ARE AMONG THE STATE’s BEST. BISHOP GUILFOYLE SITS AT NUMBER 1 CLASS 1A, WHILE HOMER CENTER IS NUMBER 8. IN CLASS 2A. LIGONIER VALLEY IS IN 6TH PLACE, IN CLASS 3A HUNTINGDON AND FOREST HILLS COME IN AT 7 AND 8. THEY WILL PLAY TONIGHT IN THE DISTRICT CHAMPIONSHIP AT MANSION PARK. BELLEFONTE IS AT NUMBER 8 IN CLASS 4A, AND STATE COLLEGE IS RANKED 8TH IN CLASS 6A.
