A Guy’s Alexa Randomly Starts Blasting Music While He’s Away, and the Cops Come to Break Up the Party

One of Amazon’s Alexa devices almost got ARRESTED last weekend.

A guy named Oliver Haberstroh lives in Hamburg, Germany, and he was out of town over the weekend.

His apartment was empty but somehow, his Alexa decided to switch on around 1:50 A.M. on Saturday . . . and it started BLASTING music.

His neighbors thought he was having a wild party, and they wound up calling the cops.  They went to his door, and when no one answered, they busted his lock and went inside.

They figured out what was happening and they pulled the power cord to turn Alexa off . . . then they got a locksmith to come fix the door.  When Oliver got home, he had to go to the police station to get the new keys . . . AND cover the locksmith bill.

He says, quote, “When I asked Alexa . . . whether she could pay me back the costs, all I got was a dry, ‘I couldn’t find any answer to the question.'”
