PENN STATE REMAINS AT NUMBER 2 IN THE WEEKLY COACHES AND AP TOP 25 FOOTBALL POLLS. THE LIONS HOWEVER RECEIVED NO FIRST PLACE VOTES IN EITHER POLL. ALABAMA RECEIVED ALL OF THOSE VOTES ONCE AGAIN. THE NITTANY LIONS WILL TRAVEL TO COLUMBUS THIS WEEK TO TAKE ON 6TH RANKED OHIO STATE.

 

QUARTERBACK TRACE McSORLEY HAS BEEN NAMED THE WALTER CAMP NATIONAL OFFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK. McSORLEY THREW FOR 282 YARDS AND 1 TOUCHDOWN, AND ALSO SCORED 2 TOUCHDOWNS IN PSU’s 42-13 WIN OVER MICHIGAN SATURDAY NIGHT.

 

THE WINNING STREAK FOR THE BISHOP GUILFOYLE MARAUDERS IS IN TACT. THE MARAUDERS RAN THAT STREAK TO 56 GAMES AFTER A 31-7 VICTORY OVER JOHNSTOWN ON FRIDAY NIGHT. THE MARAUDERS WILL LOOK TO COMPLETE A 4TH STRAIGHT UNDEFEATED REGULAR SEASON THIS SATURDAY NIGHT WHEN THEY HOST SOMERSET AT MANSION PARK.
