Country Stars Are Honoring Gregg Allman

GREGG ALLMAN’s death was felt pretty hard in the country community.  His music influenced a lot of today’s artists . . . and several hit up social media to express their feelings.  Here are a few:

JASON ALDEAN wrote, “This one hurts a lot.  This was one of my heroes.  He made it seem possible for a kid to come out of Macon, Georgia, make a name for himself, and make it in this business.  He was such an inspiration.”

BRAD PAISLEY Tweeted, “What a legacy @GreggAllman leaves behind.  Jam on in the great hereafter.”

CHARLIE DANIELS said, “Gregg had a feeling for the blues very few ever have.  Hard to believe that magnificent voice is stilled forever.”

KEITH URBAN wrote, “My heard breaks at the passing of soul brother Gregg Allman.  Blessings and peace to all of [his] family.”

“Rolling Stone”put together “10 stunning Gregg Allman Covers by Country Artists.”  They include Chris Stapleton, Waylon Jennings, Vince Gill, and Eric Church.
