Loretta Lynn Is Expected to Make a Full Recovery from Last Week’s Stroke

By now you’ve heard we had a pretty big scare last week.  LORETTA LYNN suffered a stroke Thursday night at her home in Hurricane Mills, Tennessee.  She’s expected to make a full recovery.

According to reports, she’s responsive and under medical care.  Doctors ordered her to rest and take care of herself, so she’s postponing all of her tour dates until further notice.  You can check for updates at LorettaLynn.com.

Loretta turned 85 back in April, and has been keeping busy.  In addition to doing shows here and there, she also has a new album coming out August 18th called “Wouldn’t It Be Great”.

Loretta’s sister CRYSTAL GAYLE posted a statement saying, “Many of you have heard that my sister had a stroke.  She’s a strong woman and I know she’ll come out of this.  Our family appreciates your prayers, love, and support.  We pray for a speedy recovery.”
