THE LIONS PLAYED WISCONSIN AT THE JORDAN CENTE WITHOUT HEAD COACH PAT CHAMBERS AFTER HE WAS SUSPENDED FOR 1 GAME AFTER SHOVING ONE OF HIS PLAYERS DURING AST WEEKS GAME AT MICHIGAN. THE LIONS WERE BEATEN 71-52 BY THE BADGERS YESTERDAY. LAMAR STEVENS LED PENN STATE WITH 22 POINTS. NEXT UP FOR PENN STATE…A TRIP TO NEBRASKA ON THURSDAY.

 

THE PENN STATE WOMENS TEAM ALSO DID NOT FARE WELL ON SUNDAY. THE LADY LIONS LOST TO RUTGERS 74-61 ON THE ROAD. PENN STATE FELL TO 8-7 WITH THE LOSS, WHILE RUTGERS PICKED UP ITS 6TH CONSECUTIVE WIN. SOPHOMORE TENIYA PAGE SCORED 23 POINTS, WHICH PUSHED HER CAREER TOTAL TO 1901 IN LESS THAN 2 YEARS WITH THE TEAM, WHICH IS GOOF FOR 7TH ALL TIME.
