THE ALTOONA CURVE WIL BE WELL REPRESENTED AT TONIGHTS EASTERN LEAGUE ALL STAR GAME IN TRENTON, NJ. MANAGER MICHAEL RYAN AND HIS COACHING STAFF WILL LEAD THE WESTERN DIVISION STARS. CURVE PITCHER TAYLOR HEARN WILL BE THE STARTING PITCHER FOR THE WEST. ALSO ON THE TEAM ARE SEAN KESELICA, WILL CRAIG AND KE’BRYAN HAYES.

 

WILL CRAIG TOOK PART IN THE HOME RUN DERBY FESTIVITIES LAST NIGHT AND FINISHED IN  3RD PLACE. CRAIG HIT 12 HOMERS DURING HIS TIME, JUST MISSING OUT ON THE FINAL ROUND.

 

THE CURVE AND THE REST OF THE EASTERN LEAGUE WILL GET BACK TO WORK TOMORROW. THE CURVE WILL PLAY A 5 GAME SERIES AGAINST THE ERIE SEAWOLVES ON THE ROAD. THIS WILL BE THE CURVE’s 4TH CONSECUTIVE 5 GAME SERIES IN THE PAST 2 ½ WEEKS.

 

THE STATE COLLEGE SPIKES RETURN TO ACTION TONIGHT AT HOME. THE SPIKES WILL BEGIN A SERIES AGAINST VERMONT AT MEDLAR FIELD. FIRST PITCH IS SET FOR 7:05.
